Updating Your CartDNA App Configuration and API Keys?

Updating your CartDNA payment app settings and API keys is simple:

You can update your CartDNA app’s API credentials or configuration settings in two ways:

  • Via your Shopify Admin Panel

  • Via the CartDNA Merchant Portal

Both methods lead to the same result. Below are the detailed steps for each:

How to update cartdn app settings and api keys through Shopify admin?

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin Panel.

2. Go to Settings > Payments.

3. Find your CartDNA app in the list.

4. Click on “Manage” under the More actions menu.

5. You’ll be redirected to the CartDNA app page, then you can proceed to configuration section.

How to update cartdn app settings and api keys through CartDNA admin portal?

1. Log in to your CartDNA Admin Portal.

2. Go to Main Dashboard section

3. Go to Find Corresponding app you wish to update details, press Manage.

4. You’ll be redirected to the CartDNA app configuration section.

once you visited app configuration section, you’ll find several tabs:

Live Mode: Update your live API keys.

Test Mode: Manage test credentials.

Custom Configuration (if available): For settings specific to the payment provider or processor.

All configuration fields can be updated at any time. After updating your test or live API keys, make sure to click the “Configure Webhooks” button for each mode if required. Failure to do so may cause the app to function incorrectly. (Some apps do not required this option, and you many not find this button)

Each CartDNA app has different configuration settings depending on the payment processor, bank, or service provider it’s connected to. That means configurations are unique for each app.
