You can install and configure it in just three simple steps.

• Find required app Shopify installation URL from our CartDNA app list

• Install the app to your preferred Shopify store by adding required API credentials

• Activate the app (*CartDNA test mode is free; live mode requires a license and agreement.)

Select Your Preferred CartDNA App:
Explore our range of Shopify-approved CartDNA payment apps on the CartDNA website. If you’re unsure which APM suits your target market, our global payment specialists can help with recommendations. Install the App via Shopify:
Once you find required Shopify payment app installation URL:

• Navigate to the Shopify App installation URL 
• Click Install (if you have multiple Shopify stores, Make sure your you select your store correctly before install)
• Install to your preferred Shopify store.  
• Follow the on-screen prompts to grant necessary permissions, API keys and complete the installation process. (Contact support team for any help if needed)
• CartDNA apps are Free to Test. When processing live transactions, app requires a licence and agreement. A minimum exposure fee and a percentage-based transaction fee apply to all successful transactions through the apps. Contact CartDNA support team for more details. 

Configure the Payment Gateway:
Once you find required Shopify payment app installation URL:

• Most CartDNA apps include a few tabs under the Configuration section: Live Mode, Test Mode, and Custom Configuration. Some apps may not require custom settings, so the Custom Configuration tab may be unavailable.
  Completing the Live Mode setup is mandatory to process real transactions—without it, customers won’t be able to check out.
  Test Mode is optional and only needed if you wish to run test transactions.  
• Follow the on-screen prompts to grant necessary permissions, API keys and complete the installation process. (Contact support team for any help if needed)
• Some payment apps may require setting up webhooks manually, whitelisting domains, or additional configurations on the payment acquirer’s side. We recommend contacting the CartDNA support team to verify all settings are correct before going live.
• Finally make sure to activate the app from Shopify end once all configurations are completed.    

Test the Integration on test mode:
You can perform a full test transaction in the test environment if the CartDNA app supports Test Mode. Before proceeding, please ensure the following:

• Make sure the test payment gateway credentials are added in the app’s Test Mode configuration section correctly.
• Test Mode is enabled in your Shopify admin (Shopify admin -> Settings -> Payments -> Find the payment app -> make sure test mode is enabled before do test transaction).
• You use the correct test cards or credentials for the specific app you’re testing.      

This allows you to simulate the entire checkout process without processing real payments. 

Test the Integration on Live mode with live data:
You can perform a full live transaction in the live environment. Before proceeding, please ensure the following:

• Make sure the live payment gateway credentials are added in the app’s live Mode configuration section correctly.
• Make sure to toggle off Test Mode to enable live transactions from Shopify admin end. (Shopify admin -> Settings -> Payments -> Find the payment app -> make sure test mode is enabled before do test transaction). 
• We strongly recommend performing a live test transaction after completing the full configuration. Even if you don’t finalize the payment, the checkout should proceed at least to the payment provider’s page. This confirms that the app is live and the license is properly attached.
  If you see a message saying “Contact CartDNA Team,” it likely indicates a configuration issue or a problem with the live app license.     

Go Live:
Once testing is successful, your CartDNA payment gateway is ready to accept real transactions from customers.:

• Make sure to toggle off Test Mode to enable live transactions from Shopify admin end. (Shopify admin -> Settings -> Payments -> Find the payment app -> make sure test mode is enabled before do test transaction). 
• We strongly recommend performing a live test transaction after completing the full configuration. Even if you don’t finalise the payment, the checkout should proceed at least to the payment provider’s page. This confirms that the app is live and the license is properly attached.
• Once checkout, If you see a message saying “Please get in touch with us to activate your gateway” it likely indicates a configuration issue or a problem with the live app license. please get in touch with CartDNA support team
