Requirements to Use Our Shopify Apps
You can use our Shopify apps with any active Shopify subscription. However, we recommend understanding who benefits most and what’s needed to maximise their value.
Active Shopify subscription - All our apps connected to Shopify checkout.
Have a registered business entity or be officially registered as self-employed.

1. Active Shopify Store
You must have an active Shopify store set up. CartDNA is designed to integrate with Shopify, so your store should be operational before proceeding.
2. Business Information or Self Employed Details (These details may have to be submitted to payment providers before applying for a merchant account.) Prepare accurate and detailed information about your business, including:
Business name and registration details to help to verify your Legal Entity Verification
Tax ID (if applicable): If you're a business, you may need to provide your tax ID, such as an EIN (Employer Identification Number) for US businesses.
Beneficial Owners: If you're a company, Payment processor will need information about your beneficial owners (those who own 25% or more of the company).
Contact Number: A valid phone number is needed for account verification and security purposes.
Note: From CartDNA point of view we do not collect these data. all these data needed to be provided directly to your payment processor.
3. Target Market and Payment Preferences. Identify your target market and understand the preferred payment methods in that region. CartDNA offers tailored gateway recommendations based on factors like:
Nature of your business
Turnover volume
Target country or region
Preferred Alternative Payment Methods (APMs)
Note: This ensures that the payment solutions you integrate align with your customers’ preferences .
4. Compliance with Payment Gateway Requirements Ensure that your business complies with the specific requirements of the payment gateways you intend to integrate. This includes adhering to their terms of service, providing necessary documentation, and implementing required security measures.
5. Installation of CartDNA App Install the CartDNA app from the Shopify App Store or directly from their website. The app facilitates the integration of various local and alternative payment gateways into your Shopify store .
6. Technical Readiness All CartDNA apps are Shopify approved apps and connected directly to Shopify native checkout, hence merchant's do not need to check or prepare store technically for the integration. But before installing the app see below few points:
